Wiki Tools & Calculators
Why Use Wiki Tools?
Mine a Planet hides enough numbers behind BETA 7 menus that gut feelings mislead upgrade decisions. You might think another drone doubles income when cargo caps silently waste trips, or assume Aurum always beats Azurite because the name sounds richer. Lightweight calculators and planners help you test hypotheses before spending currency or consumables.
This tools hub hosts browser-based utilities that require no downloads, no Roblox login, and no script executors. Everything runs client-side on the wiki page—your inputs stay local. We designed tools for honest fleet modeling using variables you can observe in-game: drone count, cargo per trip, ore sell value, cycle seconds, multipliers, and offline hours.
Tools complement guides; they do not replace them. A calculator tells you that upgrading cargo from ten to fifteen raises hourly cash by eighteen percent at your current ore target. Guides explain when that eighteen percent beats buying a new drone or evolving the planet.
As Skydog Games publishes more official stats, we will extend the hub with additional planners—evolution cost comparators, ore break-even tables—without fabricating constants we cannot verify.
Drone Income Calculator Overview
The flagship tool models recurring drone cycles. Enter how many drones work, how much cargo each carries, the sell value of your target ore per unit, average cycle time in seconds, any active multiplier, and optional offline session length with efficiency percent. The calculator outputs cash per cycle, cycles per hour, cash per hour, and projected offline earnings.
Use realistic cycle times measured with a stopwatch across five trips, not menu theoretical minimums. Lag, travel animation, and brief selling interactions add seconds that massively affect hourly results when multiplied across fleets.
Multiplier fields cover event boosts, temporary consumables like Super Alien Treat, or VIP-style bonuses if your account has them. Leave at one if unsure; overstating multipliers produces fantasy income.
Offline efficiency defaults to one hundred percent for simplicity, but many idle games simulate reduced away rates. Lower the efficiency field if patch notes or in-game tooltips document offline penalties.
Recommended Workflow
Step one: baseline your current build in the calculator. Step two: change one variable—add a drone, bump cargo, adjust ore value—to see marginal gain. Step three: compare marginal gain to known upgrade costs from your session. Step four: only then spend currency or consumables.
Repeat after each BETA patch that mentions ore sell changes, drone caps, or offline tweaks. A build that was optimal Monday may be suboptimal Friday.
Share screenshots of calculator inputs with friends instead of repeating vague advice like "get more drones." Specificity reduces discord arguments in community servers.
Pair calculator results with tier list articles when deciding whether speed, cargo, or mining power deserves the next upgrade slot.
Tool Limitations
Calculators cannot model every hidden modifier—crit bursts, random events, unreleased drone abilities. Outputs are estimates, not guarantees.
We do not store your data server-side. Refreshing the page clears inputs unless you bookmark values manually.
Tools are not affiliated with Skydog Games. If official APIs appear someday, we will label third-party versus official clearly.
